Based on one of the illustrations in Johannes Kepler’s 1597 book of the same name, this picture depicts the five platonic solids inscribed inside their respective cosmic spheres.

The corroded bonze patina was first developed for another piece – Incense

The lace-fringed cloth is from the props cupboard.
