Grunge Anemones

I found myself drawn to the idea of juxtaposing flowers, which are arguably beautiful at every stage of their life cycle, with low-grade everyday objects such as tin cans, corrugated iron, dead insects, dust and cobwebs. This is the first experiment of that sort. I would like to do more. I have one or two reference images that show the kind of thing you might find in an old, neglected garden shed – peeling paint, mildew, cobwebs strewn with dust, rusty screws and so on. Such things represent an unattainable goal.
